Spot Report: at 1045 hrs. 2nd platoon A Co in the vicinity of grid BS628452. 1 M-26 hand grenade on west side of trail suspended 3 ft in the air and set with trip wire. Booby trap was destroyed , negative casualties.

Spot Report: D Co DTG 302000 at grid BS761332. Element observed signs of activity at this location from BS790320 w/ starlight scope and will engage vicinity w/ Arty. Also requested same type of fire power to be put in that area tomorrow... from past experience that has been an active area. 1 secondary explosion.

Spot Report: at this time and at grid BS640446 A Co received 18-20 rounds (suspected 8" arty rounds) impacting to within 300 meters of this location, fired in groups of 2. Rounds moved away from them to the E&S, the last round impacting 1000 to 1200 meters away, received rounds from the West.

Spot Report: B Co ....SJH Bunkers #'s17-18-19 area bunker 18 (EM) heard movement and called for illum rounds....1 VC/NVA was seen outside wire approx 20 meters away crawling, engaged w/ S/A fire & 81mm...another illum went up an 3 NVA/VC were seen between 18 & 19 running downhill. Engaged w/S/A fire & 81mm...Could not tell type of clothes or if they had weapons.
