Brigade S-2 requested that this information be forwarded to Battalion S-2 because 4/3 Infantry may be involved in requesting observation & photography missions over this area. Received a hole through the floor, drive train bent (beyond repair), inside of track torn and bent and one radio destroyed.

At 0830 hrs. 11th Brigade Military Police on LZ Dottie reported 2 VN, one male & one female, received minor shrapnel wounds from small arms fire at grid coordinates BS 625864. Individuals were treated at LZ Dottie and released. Wounds were received when US personnel were test firing weapons. Personnel were unidentified or located.

5th Battalion 46th Infantry reports that at 1830 hrs. 3 personnel of the CAP Team # 131 were moving from CAP # 137 at grid BS 614946, to their location grid BS623958. VN civilians report that a woman was shot & killed by members of the 131 CAP Team. Incident occurred South of the river, somewhere between 131 & 137 locations. 131 CAP Team personnel were evacuated to LZ Bayonet and turned over to Military Police.

At 0820 hrs Brigade Recon Aircraft spotted approximately 40 sampans, on the South side of Song Tra Khuc. They were unoccupied between grids squares BS5175 & BS4475. Also, trails in the area showed no signs of activity.

Delta Company's 3rd platoon, at grid coordinates BS491765, captured 4 VCS that were hiding in a tunnel. One attempted to evade and was wounded. The VCS was dusted off. Also in the tunnel they found 3 weapons M-1 rifle serial # 5674534; M-1 carbine, serial # 125671; 1 AK-44 rifle serial # D74863.

174th Avn Battalion Dolphin 530 reported a missing helicopter from 174th and is believed to be down in grid square BS5070. Area was checked with negative results.

At 1635 hrs. Delta Company's 3rd platoon at grid coordinates BS497755, engaged 2 VC evading and resulting in; 2 VC WIA/CIA. Individuals had documents in their possession and were bearing red stars. Being dusted off to Duc Pho.

Eye witness from Bunker # 2 reported observing high air burst between the TOC & the tracks. 4.2 Tower observed 1 explosion near entry of access road gate. 3 others between TOC and Arty and area.

At 1225 hrs. Alpha Company's 3rd platoon engaged 5 VC that were evading at grid coordinates BS713888; resulting in one VC KIA. Pursuit of other the other 4 VC is negative. VC KIA had no ID/weapons or weapons, and he was a 30 year old male.

Aero Scouts OH-23 helicopter was flying at 100 feet altitude at grid coordinates BS655925, received 2 rounds from a AK-47 and possibly one round from a M-79 or grenade. Reconnoiter the area by fire w/negative results. No hits were received by OH-23 helicopter.
25 June 68 1401
Alpha Company's 3rd platoon, at grid coordinates BS700894, detonated a M16A1 "Bouncing Betty" mine resulting in 2 US KHA, 3 US WHA (3 urgent & 1 priority). Platoon was moving in file formation and was spaced 20 meters apart w/ flak jackets. Moving across the middle a rice paddy (old NDP) the mine was detonated. Dust off requested at 1404 hrs and completed at 1424 hrs. Medevac helicopter received several rounds of small arms fire from grid location BS700900 on take off.
